E’ la storia delle piante del limone femminello e delle arance bionda e duretta, i tre igp che hanno scandito i tempi di questo antico borgo.
Forse in pochi sanno che Rodi Garganico oltre ad essere uno splendido borgo del promontorio garganico, con uno dei più bei porti d’Italia, ha un patrimonio agricolo di rilevanza nazionale insieme a Vico del Gargano ed Ischitella, i borghi con cui confina e con i quali costituisce l’oasi agrumaria del gargano, l’unica in tutto l’adriatico, la prima oasi agrumaria in Italia ad esportare in Europa . Con tre igp: limone femminell, arancia bionda, arancia duretta.
E in questo contesto che nasce l’ispirazione per il profumo , tra antichi fasti e grandi virtù!
Senza l’utilizzo di sostanze di sintesi, il profumo di Rodi è composto da essenze naturali, ottenute mediante il processo di distillazione in corrente di vapore e per spremitura delle bucce, ha note di testa di arancio e limone, le note di cuore sono gocce di petitgrain, e le note di fondo profumano il legno di cedro. E’ un profumo fresco, che profuma di allegria. Ideale nelle calde giornate estive.
L’etichetta raffigura un quadro di mio zio Giacomo Filippo D’Errico che amava dipingere la sua terra di origine, quando vi tornava in ferie. La confezione è in plastica riciclata dal mare!
